Včera večer sa zišli v Microsoft Theatre v Los Angeles všetky zaujímavé televízne osobnosti a herci, aby sa rozhodlo, kto si domov odnesie Emmy. Bol to už 68. ročník odovzdávania týchto cien a majú moje veľké sympatie – nielen preto, že večerom sprevádzal môj milovaný Jimmy Kimmel, ale aj preto, že Kardashianky neboli medzi pozvanými. Síce tam otravovala Heidi Klum, ktorá sa podobne ako ony natlačí vždy všade, ale tentokrát bola medzi nominovanými, takže jej prítomnosť bola celkom opodstatnená.
Kimmel patrí k mojim obľúbencom, takže som sa výborne zabavila. Jeho vtipom sa nevyhli ani Donald Trump, O.J. Simpson a ani Bill Cosby. Cenu za najlepšiu talk šou si síce domov neodniesol, ale vďaka tomu sme na pódiu videli aj Matta Damona. Ich známy „konflikt“ ešte stále pokračuje a ešte stále nemá chybu.
Čo sa týka víťazov a porazených, bodovali najmä Game of Thrones a American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson. Prvé nepozerám, ale gratulujem, a z druhého sa veľmi teším, keďže som celú sériu hltala ako šialená a herecké výkony nemali chybu. Najmä herecký výkon Sarah Paulson, ktorá bola ocenená tiež a ktorá si so sebou priniesla naozajstnú Marciu Clark, ktorú v minisérii hrala. Počas ďakovačky odhodila zábrany a pred všetkými poďakovala svojej staršej polovičke Holland Taylor a povedala jej, že ju miluje.
Nechýbal ani Tom Hiddleston, ktorý na akciu prišiel sám, keďže jeho pozvanie Taylor Swift na túto udalosť vyústilo až do rozchodu. Smutný ale rozhodne nemal byť prečo, spoločnosť mu robila krásna Priyanka Chopra, s ktorou si zrejme padli do oka pri prezentovaní jednej z kategórií a na afterpárty mali k sebe podľa očitých svedkov dosť blízko, flirtovali spolu a držali sa za ruky. Ale dosť už rečí, pozrime sa na víťazov.
