Grammy Awards 2020

Tak a máme tu ďalšie odovzdávanie cien.

62-ročnik Grammy Awards sa konal v nedežu 26. januára v Staples Center v Los Angeles. Večer jednoznačne patril Billie Eilish, ktorej hudba mňa dos obchádza (ak samozrejme nerátam jej hit s Khalidom, ten snáď pozná každý). No keďže Billie oslávila v decembri 18-tku, tak sa veruže nečudujem. Na ňu som teda ja už naozaj stará.

Ešte trochu k ceremoniálu. Po úvodnom vystúpení Lizzo, hostitežka večera Alicia Keys pripomenula tragickú smr legendárneho basketbalistu Kobe Bryantha, o ktorom sme viac písali tu. Demi Lovato sa postavila na pódium po dvoch rokoch a predviedla krásny výkon v princeznovských bielych šatách. Gwen Stefani a Blake Shelton si spoločne romanticky zaspievali na javisku. K zážitkom patrilo aj vystúpenie Ushera s pesničkami od Princea. Vystúpila taktiež Ariana Grande či Camila Cabello, ktorá piesňou vzdala poctu svojmu otcovi.

Kategórií je naozaj požehnane (odkedy sa udežuje Grammy za najlepší detský album?), tak ak máte chu sa nimi prehraba, tu sú. Ešte upozorňujem, že som ich neprekladala. Jednak preto, že naša žubozvučná slovenčina častokrát tieto anglické slovné spojenia kazí a taktiež preto, že sa niektoré kategórie naozaj ažko prekladajú.
